Questions, answered

The things people ask before their first booking. Pricing lives on its own page, and safety on its own.

What can a robot actually do?

Cleaning, DIY and flat-pack assembly, moving and carrying, gardening, home organisation, business support, event help and shelf stocking — which ones depend on the model. Every robot page lists what it can do and, just as plainly, what it cannot, before you book. See the fleet.

Do I need to supervise it while it works?

Usually not. Most of the fleet works on its own with a human remote operator able to step in. A couple of the compact models do need someone on site, and that is stated on the robot’s own page rather than discovered on the day.

How do I stop a robot?

Press the physical stop button on the robot, or use Stop in the app. Either one halts it immediately, and you never need a reason. More on safety.

How soon can one actually get here?

Inside our service areas, usually under an hour. Optimus reaches Brighton in about 40 minutes from the moment you confirm — you see the real window before you pay, not a promise afterwards.

Do I have to be home when it arrives?

Someone needs to let it in and show it the job the first time. After that, delivery instructions are remembered, and you do not need to be there for the collection at the end.

What happens if the robot I booked is not available?

We offer an equivalent robot at the same price wherever one exists, and show you the swap and the price before it is confirmed — never after. If nothing equivalent is free you are offered a priced alternative rather than sent back to the start.

Can I book the same job every week?

Yes — weekly, fortnightly, every four weeks or your own interval, with any single occurrence skippable or editable on its own. While the fleet is this small each occurrence is confirmed individually, and the app says so before you commit.

What does a robot record, and where does it go?

Sensors and cameras run navigation, safety and the task in front of them. Footage is never used for marketing, is kept only as long as safety, support and billing need it, and you can ask what was collected during any booking.

Is Botler a real service I can use today?

Not yet. The app, the admin portal and the demo all work end to end, but the fleet, the bookings, the prices and the availability are seeded, illustrative data — there is no live robot to send. The rates you see ($49–$80 an hour, 2 hours minimum, $20 delivery) are what the product would charge, and the demo is the honest way to judge it. Open the demo.

Still stuck?

Support answers email, and the demo answers most of the rest — it is the whole product with nothing charged and nothing saved.
